NVQ Level 5 - Controlling Lifting Operations (Planning Lifts - Construction)

The Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Controlling Lifting Operations (Construction) -Planning Lifts qualification has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment which means the learner must be employed in a role where planning lifts form part of the candidates' duties. Through the collection of evidence candidates will demonstrate their skills, knowledge and understanding as well as demonstrating their competence in the workplace when carrying out planning lifts within the construction industry.

Once you finish the NVQ you will be able to apply for a blue CPCS card (Construction Plant Competence Scheme). If you wish to apply, you must have already trained for and been awarded the red CPCS card, you will need a further 6 months experience as well as the Level 5 NVQ.
