CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) and SMSTS Refresher
Course Overview
Designed for new and existing site managers and people who are responsible for planning, monitoring, controlling and administering staff on construction sites, the CITB SMSTS Course will provide delegates with an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues and help them develop the moral and social duties associated with being a site manager.
The CITB SMSTS training is industry-recognised and delivered by our CITB-accredited and experienced trainers. This certificate is required for all site managers working on BuildUK sites.
This course lasts for five days (40h), which can be run over five consecutive days, one day per week over five weeks or split over two weeks for maximum flexibility.
This five-day course includes home study, and delegates must complete each day’s training session to get a valid certificate. During the five days, operatives will be set group tasks which must be completed successfully to obtain their certificate.
